ORIGINS

I grew up in Meiringen, a small town tucked in by mountains, with Hasliberg around the corner. I started skiing at a young age but never felt passionate about it. As a teenager I followed in my sister’s footsteps and started snowboarding. I immediately fell in love with it. If I had afternoons off, I would take my snowboard with me to school, skip lunch and ride all afternoon. Soon I had a bunch of new snowboarder friends. They were all older and better than me but they always took me along, patiently teaching me and showing me all the amazing backcountry spots.

To this day, it is the beauty of the mountains and that feeling of pure freedom, shared with amazing friends, that inspires me. Those are my happiest days. Riding with good friends and sharing the love for snowboarding and the mountains.

STORY

I would describe myself as a free spirit. Traveling, moving around and seeing new places makes me happy. I never really plan too far ahead as I love to be spontaneous. It is important to me to maintain a balanced lifestyle, cook healthy food, exercise, read nice books, play music, spend quality time with family and friends. I work seasonal jobs in the winter, snowboard and then take off to find tropical waves and cold coconuts. To stay balanced I make sure I spend plenty of time alone, to recharge, slow down and reflect.
